We Are A Praying Church

At One Direction Christian Fellowship we believe in the power of prayer. We understand that a praying church is a church that sees God answer prayer. Our decisions must be guided by prayer as we seek the will of God for His church.

The early church devoted themselves to the apostles’ teaching and to the fellowship, to the breaking of bread and to prayer. (Acts 2:42)

It is God’s will that we pray continually. (1 Thessalonians 5:17)

Prayer is simply a conversation with God. It is the means through which we seek and receive God’s purposes and power for ourselves and others. Circumstances and situations change when we pray.

We encourage everyone to have a personal prayer life and to join with others in communal prayer.
